Tea Room
Slatted light and shadow — your own Oriental retreat
OVERVIEW
About tea room customization
The tea room is where atmosphere matters most: soft light, deep colors, few objects. It does not need to be large — it needs to be precise.
CMITAL often uses continuous book-matched natural veneer on the main tea room wall with slats and slim trim, so light and shadow move across it through the day - an effect no framed picture can replace.
KEY POINTS
- Book-matched veneer with unbroken grain across the elevation
- Slat spacing of 18-25 mm for clearly layered light and shadow
- Recessed storage inside the cabinet so tea ware is easy to take out and put away
- Lighting at 2700-3000K, all indirect
- Provide supply and waste for a tea station and rinsing

FAQ
FAQ
Does a tea room need a tatami platform?
No. A tatami platform suits a room that doubles as a guest bedroom; for a pure tea room we suggest a table with a low cabinet - more comfortable to sit at and easier to keep clean.
How do I partition a tea room elegantly?
A wooden slatted screen or reeded glass is best - light passes through but not sightlines. Avoid a fully closed partition, which would cut the tea room off from the living room.
What customization services does CMITAL offer for Spatial Aesthetics?
Covers all 602 completed projects under Spatial Aesthetics; order a full set or a single piece, with sizes, colors and materials re-detailed for your floor plan.
Can I order just one piece?
Yes. The four series can be mixed within one design language; single-piece orders also include free measurement, free 3D design and factory-direct pricing.
How long from first talk to installation?
S1 runs about 10–15 days, S2/S3 about 20–30 days and S4 solid wood about 30–45 days; the exact schedule is confirmed at signing.
What is the emission rating?
Every product uses ENF-grade substrate (formaldehyde ≤0.025 mg/m³, stricter than China's E0), so you can move in as soon as installation is done.
