Edge Banding
Look closely at the joint between the panel core and the edge banding for a white or dark glue line. The thinner and more even the line, the better the edge banding.
Seams
Check whether seams stay evenly spaced where panels meet and whether corners look pieced together panel by panel. This is the real dividing line in installation quality.
Hardware
Check whether drawers slide smoothly without catching and whether door gaps stay even from top to bottom; the video also shows the hinge and slide brands.
